Hi everyone,

I know the launch event on Tuesday next week (12th) will announce the new Series 9 watch, do we know how long it usually is between that announcement and being able to order/have the watch shipped?

Not that I'm excited about getting an upgrade or anything....

Last year, the watches were available to order immediately after the event (unlike the iPhones, where pre-orders opened on the Friday later in that same week).

The Series 8 shipped 1.5 weeks later, and the first Ultras 2.5 weeks later (though supply of the Ultra was quite limited to start with, and shipping dates slipped back several weeks fairly quickly).

I'd expect something similar this year.

Kinda wish Apple would allow 2 days before ordering can begin since not everyone can be available during Apple’s announcement.

So everyone should wait to buy their watches in case you're not ready to order yourself? :D
LOL, that would be great! Let’s make that happen! :D

I’m unfortunately one of those people with a job that makes me undeniably available for at least 6 hours after Tue’s announcement, so I’ll have to accept a later delivery date that’s pushed back a couple weeks. But, I can always dream right! LOL

I’ll be darned. First chance I had to place an order was 11 hours after the Keynote. And I still got opening day for delivery! Apple Watch Ultra 2 with Olive Alpine Loop. Can’t wait!
