Expected shortages?

Are there any expected shortages or do you think I can go right in and buy one? And by one I mean the iPhone 3G S

I was wondering too.

But. the fact that the release is so SOON, lead me to believe that they are prepared. Also the fact that you can order on-line, makes me hopeful that this will be the smoothest release day yet.

I hope FED-EX comes in the morning, because I want to go to my local Apple and see if there are lines...

i think fedex will be coming in the morning. i asked a fedex manager what type of service the iphones will be shipped as and he said he thought priority overnight but wasn't 100% sure. if it is priority they should arrive before 10:30am.
