Expected supply for iPhone X preorders

Given the big delay until October 27 for pre orders, any insight on what the supply will be for those who try to order when the clock strikes midnight?

I imagine it would be a problem for Apple if the phone sells out online within minutes of the preorder going live after their customers already waited for weeks.

Its apple, They always have constraints on iPhones at launch. Happens every year and will be especially bad this year since its a new design.
