Apple reseller Expercom has launched pre-orders for the just-announced MacBook Air and iPad Pro updates, offering up to $104 off these devices, and an average of around $50 off in most cases. Because these models launched this morning, Expercom's prices are the first deals we've seen on the 2020 MacBook Air and iPad Pro.

Expercom's shipping is around $10, depending on the item being shipped. The new MacBook Pros will be shipped within one to two weeks, while the new iPad Pro will be shipped in two to three weeks. If you haven't ordered from Expercom before, the retailer is a trusted Apple Premium Reseller that also sells AppleCare+ with its products, which we've included in the lists below.

iPad Pro

Apple's 2020 MacBook Air includes faster processors, a new scissor switch keyboard, and overall 80 percent faster graphics performance than the previous generation. The new MacBook Air features a Magic Keyboard with a redesigned scissor mechanism that delivers 1mm of key travel, plus a new inverted-"T" arrangement for the arrow keys, similar to the 16-inch MacBook Pro.

On the tablet side, the new iPad Pro has a faster A12Z Bionic chip, a new Magic Keyboard accessory with a built-in trackpad, an Ultra Wide camera, a LiDAR Scanner, and more. It also features a square camera bump with a 12MP Wide camera and a 10MP Ultra Wide camera, which can zoom out two times to capture a wider field of view.

Another big advantage to Expercom is that you don't have to pay sales tax in a lot of states. They are based in Utah. Loophole that needs to be plugged tbh.

Has anyone heard of Expercom before?

Yes. Bought my 16" MBP from them when they first launched. They had the best deal on launch day. And had no issues with the order or delivery.

Sounds very dodgy that a Apple product is discounted, and further that it is brand new Apple products.

Honestly, you must not be paying much attention when new models launch. The 16 MBP had a bunch of retailers offering discounts on launch day. Including Adorama and B&H. It's not unusual to see deals on brand new products. They're just usually pretty small discounts

Just a thread full of lies and people used to paying MSRP on stuff with high margins for the retailer, lol

I bought a $3,200 MBP from them in Dec 2018 and have had no issues

As another guy said above, Apple certified them as a reseller

I bought my 16” MBP with them. Saved $350 or so on the build + 10% on sales tax. Took a couple days longer to ship than it would’ve been had I ordered through Apple, but didn’t have any issues.

I considered getting my 16" from them, but forum members recommended I not, so I got it from Apple. After hearing honest feedback, I'd likely buy from them in the future.

Has anyone heard of Expercom before?

I’ve bought from them for years. More so before Apple Stores popped up all over.

Of the 3rd party Apple shops I’ve used used over the years, Expercom has usually been my favorite. Like anything else I still shop around and such. Not sure if it matters but my experience is with their brick-and-mortar stores. I don’t remember if I’ve ever used their online store.

I just bought the New 1Tb Cellular iPad Pro direct from from apple for $1,549.00, moments ago at educational pricing so it looks like they are just using the education discount loophole and being in education no tax to them

No 5G!
$1700 price tag fully loaded!
A12Z Chip! What the heck is that?
No 5mm A14!
Forget it!
I'll keep my 2018 iPad Pro
Wait until next years A14 model
another Apple DUD just like the overpriced Mac Pro
Sales for Apple are gonna suck ALL YEAR.

I need to get my $110 price match from Best Buy as I just bought an iPad Pro 11 256GB LTE.

I may end up calling and seeing if they will do it that way. Trying to do a price match with all the COVID drama does not seem like fun. Best Buy is still open...for now...

No kidding?
Yup. Sometimes people make mistakes. 99.9999% of readers ignore them, because they’re not worth pointing out. Occasionally there will be some smartass comment from someone who gets a little ego boost from pointing out the mistakes of others.

A wise man or woman once said something like, “Remember, when you point your finger at others, there are three fingers pointing back at you.”
