Hi,

I've placed an order for the new 2.0 alu macbook yesterday. Apple shipped it out with Purolator tonight and they gave me a tracking number. I tried to track it and it only shows me error messages at the purolator site at this moment.

In the past, I bought a 2nd gen Ipod from the apple store before and they shipped it with Purolator and I had a horrible experience with it. I'm a student and I am rarely home in the morning which is when they usually attempt the delivery. The problem was that they attempted I think about 2 attempts then stashed the item in their inventory which was about an hour away by a car. It also turned out that their warehouse was secluded in a really remote area too. I called them if they can do a redelivery, they said no, asked them if they could drop it off in a nearby location near my house, they said no because there isn't one. I had to actually taxi myself over to the friggin warehouse and waste money on taxi as well. It was winter too and that made it double friggin horrible.

I'm so afraid that this situation might happen again.
Any student in Montreal have any experience with this?
