Experiences with 13” MacBook Pro & 5K LG Ultrafine

Hi,

I wondered if anyone had used the LG Ultrafine 5K with a recent 13” MacBook Pro? (2017/2018/2019). I wondered how the internal dedicated Intel Iris graphics handles it, particularly when running other apps such as Adobe Lightroom.

I know the official specs say it can run one at 60Hz but in real life usage can it become choppy or laggy or is it generally smooth?

Ive worked with a 2016 13 inch paired with LG5k since 2016 untill now and survived Running a 2019 15 inch now and yes the boost in performance is noticable for my workflow (Superlarge Sketch-documents).

I never did any Lightroom work but Photoshop worked fine. Didnt work with RAW-files though.
