Hi, I'd like to hear if anyone has had any issues using iCloud Desktop & Documents sync. I am paying for the 2TB iCloud plan, so I was wondering if I should exploit it even more than I currently do.

I've used iCloud Drive a lot, and I assume it'll work exactly like that, but I would like to hear if anyone has comments or experiences otherwise?

• I will setup the sync on one machine, and wait for that to sync, before moving onto the next one. Read that this was recommended.
• What happens to the iCloud Drive folder? Is that still present?
• Is this handled properly by machines with low disk space? I have a Macbook with 256 GB space on it, so 2TB is going to be a lot more than it can handle, even with selective sync. :) I again assume this will be handled like with iCloud Drive, which seems to do it just fine.
• What happens to the files if you downgrade your iCloud plan, or cancel it?

Yes it is. And Desktop and Documents will appear inside it.

Well, there are certain things that have the cloud symbol next to them, indicating I don't have a local copy.

Haven't tried, cause I'm happy with it. That's a good question going beyond just Documents and Desktop though.
