Export Aim Contact List

Hey guys, im using adium, and i need to export my aim contact list. Some people have told me to download the official aim, and i tried that, and I cant open the aim that i download. It keeps closing right when i double click it, and i dont know why. Maybe it has not been updated for the latest OS. So anyway, i was wondering if there was any other way to export my aim contact list. I need this very badly... thanks!

I didn't think you had to. I thought it was kept on the AIM servers or something like that. That is why you can sign on on anyones computer and have all your contacts and friends there. Maybe I am wrong.

^Yes that's true.... but if you make a new screen name...... how, is what I think he's trying to ask?

I always used to do this on Windows because AIM on windows lets you load/save lists and such......... not so much on mac clients.

ya, i created a new sn, and need to get all my contacts there... how?

I've always used the official AIM client to export and import buddy lists.

I haven't seen another application which can do it.
