Export Clips From IMovie

Okay, so I have finished with making a DVD for a friend using very old digital tape clips. Much filtering and upscaling but the result was quite good given the old technology.

Now I want to export all the clips from the preview pane to a separate folder in order to grab some stills for him.

In iMovie 9.x I can't seem to drag them out, edit select all seems to export the completed movie and not the clips.....I must be dumb cause in the old version this was easy!

Only Way

I found to do this was to select them all, send them to the trash, then recover them to a new folder. It works, but there has got to be a better way than that.

You should be able to find all your Event clips in Home Folder>Movies>iMovie Events. This works for iMovie11 which I would recommend upgrading to for it's superior audio editing.
