Export Photo library as files

I have used my Mac for my iPhone photos and they are stored on the drive as a single photo library. Within that library they have been organised as 'holiday' 'family' for example. I wanted to move those onto another drive as individual folders rather than back up the whole library.

How do I export that library into folder format for viewing elsewhere?

If you are referring to the "Photos Library" file in your Home Folder>Pictures>Photo Library, you can't do from there. You will have to open Photos and then drag each Folder/Album into Finder.
