Export photos from iPhone or use iCloud?

Hi,

I am wondering. I am duplicating my pictures if I have icloud enabled in aperture and it's downloading my pictures month by month and then after I import all my photos into Photos, right?

is import from iPhone and transfered from iCloud the same quality?

Go into you iCloud System Preferences and turning off photo sync to see if that clears it up! If it does not duplicate anymore then import you photos. Once you have everything you need choose to replace the pictures saved on iCloud with the new pictures.

Only think of turning on picture syncing get it setup and replace all the picture on iCloud to incorporate the pictures you just setup after importing.
