Exporting a GB file 2 iDVD.

Here is my problem. I have an iMovie file, 3.19GB, that I exported to GarageBand 3, where it becomes a 6.06GB file. The total (time) length of the video is almost 16:33. For some reason when GB finally opens, the time becomes an hour and six minutes long. I move the EOS marker along the timeline to the end of my video/movie at the 16:33 mark. When I go to share this file in GB with iDVD, this is the "error" message I get when iDVD 6 opens;

Project:
• total project duration: 1373:27 minutes
• total project capacity: 75.174 GB (max. available: 4.172 GB)

Menus:
• number of menus in project: 1 menus
• total menu duration: 0:30 minutes
• total menu capacity: 28.751 MB

Movies:
• total movies duration: 1372:57 minutes
• total movies capacity: 75.146 GB

My question(s) are this;

1.) How do I make sure that my timeline doesn't exceed the actual time of my movie/video?

2.) When I export from GB3 to iDVD6, how do I make sure that I don't get that same "error" message that I showed above?

I am using iLife 6 (haven't bought iLife '08 yet) on Mac OS 10.4.10 with 3 GB ram.

P.S. My tempo count is 120. If I changed to the highest number I can get, my time shrinks to about 33 minutes. However, when I repeat the export process, I still get the same "error" message as I did before.
