Exporting AIFF in Garageband - file only sometimes saves

I've been having an issue with Garageband when trying to export AIFF's. The export all goes as it should, but only about one in four times does the file actually appear on the hard drive once it is done. I have done lots of testing but ultimately haven't found a factor that causes it to save or not save. At first I thought it was a file name issue but that's not the case as if I keep trying to save the file with the same name, it will eventually save.

Any ideas?
