I've been trying to export various movies in Quicktime X with no luck. I've tried .mov, .m4v, .avi files with no luck. Here are my main issues:

1) When exporting I only get three options: 480p, iPod touch & iPhone 3GS, or audio only. Is this really all I can export in?

2) Every time I try to export a file after I trim it I get an error. It will export with the whole movie, but not once it's been edited.

Attached are the error messages that I get in various forms.

I believe it's because the movie is small and wouldn't look good on a computer screen so QT defaults to a more suitable format. Could be wrong but just a thought.

It makes sense. I just like it better when I could tweak the parameters like in QT7.

Has anyone else been able to successfully export edited movies in Quicktime X? Am I the only one with this problem?

I have all sorts of issues. Primarliy going clips. If they are long it does not work for instance both discs from Pearl Harbor is 3 hours. It won't play. If i shrink it to 2 minutes and join them no issue. Also lose 5.1 when I do this.
