I want to export and entire iTunes and Photo library to another Mac but the user lacks a USB Jump drive. The photo library is 12GB's and I am not sure how large the iTunes library is so using a WIFI network will take years so I need another option. Apple used to make this easy with iPhoto, but with Photos they seem to have made it more difficult. Thanks for your help.

The external drive? Yes, or FireWire or Thunderbolt depending on the drive and the Macs.

Target Disc Mode? Well the link says FireWire or Thunderbolt so I'm guessing not USB.
