I have several sites up that I built with and maintain with iWeb. I'm reading up on what the best alternative will be now that apple web hosting is going away/iWeb not being updated any more.

One question in particular I have is, will any of the programs I might consider be better at importing my current site files? How complex a process is it to change from iWeb over to Rapidweaver, or Sandvox or MacFlux (or any program you might suggest) etc? Thanks.

Using 000webhost.com to replace MobileMe

000webhost.com is a no-cost hosting service. You publish your website using iWeb FTP to get the files loaded onto 00webhost. Be sure to load the files to /public_html.
And most importantly store a .htaccess file in the root directory (/public_html) of the 000webhost file system,
containing two entries:
AddHandler default-handler .html
AddType text/html .html

Best create the file with 000webhost's file manager, as creating (and then finding) it on the Mac is a bit tricky.

...and it works like a charm!!
