exporting movies with imovie '08

i was looking how to export a movie to quicktime with imovie '08 but i can only find answers for the previous version of imovie. anyone here know how? when i go to "share" all the options are grayed out btw

Movie clips are located in your Event Library. You have to drag the clips to the Project Library before they can be exported.

Not sure if this is the info you needed or not.

as silly as it might sound, i can't manage to actually drag or move my clips from event to project. the only way o have found is to copy and paste the entire clip... there must be an easier way. can you help? can u actually drag the clip? can you be more specific please?
