Expose animation

For some reason the expose animation is not animating in, however it does animate out. I have a really fast MBP with 8GB of ram and a 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, so performance shouldn't be the problem. Any ideas why it isn't working right? Thanks.
