Once again Adobe fails to impress me on this one...

I am testing CS4 in trial mode on a 2008 Intel Mac Mini, OS X 10.5.8, 3GB RAM. CS4 is in every way better than Elements and I am about to take advantage of Adobe's limited time upgrade offer but for one major issue.

I use Exposé to quickly view, sort and maneuver around multiple files in several applications including Elements. I can have any number of images open (well over 100 if I want) and Exposé works perfectly and efficiently in my workflow. CS4 on the other hand seems to be the only application I have ever used which is "broken" under Exposé.

Regardless however many files I have open at one time, CS4 will only zoom out 15-20 windows. The rest get "dimmed" as though they are not part of the application. The images I am looking at are only about 400k each, so memory is not an issue (only about 30-40 open). As a side effect, this behavior effects all other open applications while CS4 is open. As a further side effect some weirdness occurs where of the windows CS4 does zoom out, 1 or 2 fail to display their image.

Has any one else encountered this? This is absurd. One of the most efficient and beneficial features of the Mac platform, especially when using Photoshop, and Adobe has managed to be the only compnay who has somehow broken this....even while it works flawlessly in their "consumer" Elements.

Many thanks for any assistance,
