Hey guys. I tried posting this on apple.com but to no avail, so I'm hoping people here might have ideas, or might be able to test whether or not this bug occurs on their system!
Ordinarily I use active screen corners to trigger expose, as set up through system preferences - likewise, I like to auto-hide my dock to conserve monitor space. Certain applications however seem to eat up the functionality of these two features; moving my mouse to the screen corners does nothing, and to the bottom of the screen does not pull up my dock. The interesting thing is that when I select the applications from the dock, unless I click on them, active windows works fine. If I click on the application (either itself or through expose), then active screen corners and auto-showing the dock stops working.
List of applications that are experiencing this bug on my system:
Textedit
Activity Monitor
iChat
Calculator
Skim
List of applications that work fine:
iTunes
Safari
Terminal
Mail
Address Book
Photo Booth
QuickTime
Automator
I'm stumped as to what the problem, and especially what the solution, is. Is this happening to anybody else? Does anybody have any thoughts on how to fix it?
Thanks,
Kevin
