I use the Expose option that shows all the windows of the current app quite often, mainly because I hate the concept of tabs. If I wanted to use an MDI-style interface I'd wipe out OSX and install Microsoft Windows 3.1 or something. So, when I work, I have a separate window open for every document I'm working on, or web page I'm working on. Clearly Expose - particularly the specific application window variant - was made for me.
However, I have noticed that Expose is a bit pants at choosing how to organise the windows when it presents them all. For example: I have 4 square-ish web browser windows open right now, and that's about it. If I hit Expose, I get all four of them side by side. This makes each window smaller than it has to be, versus, say, if they were placed evenly around the screen, one in each corner. If I add another (smaller) window to the mix, I get just that. It seems that if you've got windows that are all the same size, it has a tendency to place them side by side and not evenly spaced around the screen.
Am I just moaning for the sake of moaning, or is there a place where one can tweak the Expose settings?
