Hi all,

I am using Panther 10.3.9 and work with X11 (in full screen mode using the fvwm2 window manager) always on, and after a few hours, Exposé stops working (F9 and F10 no longer work outside of X11, nor does cmd-TAB). This may have to do with the Mac going to sleep. Quitting and restarting X11 does not help. The only solution I found is to reboot.
Are there any ways to prevent Exposé from disappearing or can one relaunch Exposé?

open terminal, type "killall Dock" just like that. Will restart the dock, and also kill the expose stuff

t.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Alas, in Terminal or X11:

% killall Dock

does not help. Still no application switcher (cmd-TAB) nor Exposé (F9 etc.)

Perhaps the keys are remapped somehow? I am able to get some expose functions in other ways, for example "All windows" in Active Corners does work...
