I just received and installed an ExpressCard to PCMCIA adapter from Duel Systems (www.duel-systemsadapters.com). I bought it from Sewelldirect.com (http://sewelldirect.com/Express-Card-to-PCMCIA-Adapter.asp). My plan is to use my Sprint S720 wireless card (which I usually use on my Dell D62) on my MBP. I was skeptical, but the adapter seems to work great. Here are a few quick observations:
> The adapter installs easily under Leopard. No driver CD is required. You have to boot up your MBP first, and then plug in the Duel Adapter.
> I installed the Sprint S720 Novatel card next using OS X drivers downloaded from Sprint. Follow the directions exactly and the card shows up fine. I seem to need to connect manually when I want to use it after booting up.
> I could not get Windows to recognize the Duet Adapter when I used Fusion. However, it found it flawlessly when I booted up in Boot Camp. So now I'm Sprinting in OSX and Windows on my MBP.
> Leave the selector switch in the "A" or MAC mode even when using it under Windows.
> The adapter is a bit bulky, but it will fit in a laptop bag with no problem.
Thanks for Duel Systems for making an adapter that works.
