I just purchased one of these. It is wonderful! Although it is overpriced for what it is, it is very well built. In fact, the only competitors are cheaper 3D printed ones on Etsy or similar websites. Although 3D printing is faster/cheaper, the durability just cannot compare to items that are made in more traditional ways.
This product does work with the newest keyboard/trackpads released in 2021. There is a slight gap but it is not really noticeable on the black version. It includes tape to hold them into place securely.
Besides price, my only knock is the company's online presence. It was hard to determine if this company was still active based on the lack of recent reviews for this product and confusing website.
I shot over an email to them to get an ETA and I received a personal phone call a few days later from Jake (owner) himself. We had a fun 30 minute conversation about my needs for a keyboard/trackpad tray for my setup. He is a really stand up guy. How many companies go out of their way like this?
