I run Blackmagic a little bit with a fast SSD:

- Sonnet Tempo Pro (3G) ExpressCard: 125 MB/s write
- AKE 4-port USB 3.0 ExpressCard (FL1100): 160 MB/s write

The FirmTek 6G eSATA ExpressCard would be much faster for read, but about the same as the Sonnet for write

I tried the Sonnet against a 2-DeskStar hardware RAID 0 enclosure, and I get about the same speeds.

I don't think the Sonnet 6G would be much faster at writing, or is it?

Until today I thought that it was my Onnto quad interface RAID that was slow.

I think I can start to understand a bit what is happening : both the card and the enclosure support UASP (it was not advertised) .

I will verify later that the UAS driver is being used indeed.
