If I got the curent cases out for the old MBP's would it still fit, the updates havn't changed the overall sizes that much, only the thickness right ?

do you mean putting the new MBP into and old-style case? or old MBP in new case?

anyway, i don't think either would work, the internal structure has changed somewhat, and the HDD and battery have been moved, and the trackpad is a different size.. and yea it is slightly thinner

Depends on what you're talking about

if you are talking about a sleeve or carrying case.
Yes it will fit.

If you are talking about a hard shell case.
No because some cosmetic changes were made, such as the trackpade

So it's a case that goes over the MBP only when it's closed? If so, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't fit. I'd only see problems if it was one designed for it when it's opened.
