I recently received a new 1TB external drive as a gift, rendering my old 160gb to storage. However, i decided to fill up the old 160gb drive with a bunch of music and a few seasons of Top Gear i had on DVD for a good friend of mine who is in advanced training in the Army over in Arizona. I completely forgot about the whole WINDOWS/MAC-read/write complications. I am running snow leopard on my imac, but when the hard drive was formatted it was either on leopard OR i believe tiger was before that...can't honestly remember. Anyways, my friend is running a windows machine he just got this year, i would assume it is running windows 7. He can not get the hard drive to even register on his machine to even watch the videos. Now i am not a very prominant windows user, and my friend is even worse than i am, he rather hates computers. So how can i help him get his computer to recognize the hard drive without him sending it back and having to re-format the drive? Thank you in advance for the help!

The drive is a seagate, USB drive with an external power source (does not get power through USB drive)
