I searched forums but did not see this problem anywhere.

I have a 24" iMac 2.4, I bought a WD MyBook ext 320 gig drive. Hooked up thru fw400. Works great except.....

When I try and bootup windows (XP Pro, SP2) thru bootcamp... it will stall on the bootup stage where the windows logo is up with the sideways loading bar. It doesnt freeze the computer, it just causes it to never finish loading. If I unplug the ext HD then reboot..windows starts up perfectly. One windows is loaded if I plug the drive in there is no problem except the drive doesnt show up in My Computer. Figured that was normal though since its only formatted for mac.

I have the bootcamp partition on my main HD, not the ext HD.

Is here some driver I need for WinXP support that could cause this?
