I have an old mini that I'd like to use, but it is wireless incapable. My DSL service provides a 2WIRE wireless router, which I've been using with my other wireless capable macs, and I have a new generation Airport Extreme from a previous set-up just sitting around. It seems like I should be able to have the the AE act as a remote to the existing wireless network broadcast from the 2WIRE, making it possible for me to connect my mini via ethernet, but this has not been an easy configuration for me to discover. I've combed the forums, lots of input on similar matters, but none quite like this. The more I read, the more I'm coming to understand the difficulties associated with trying to connect Apple and non-Apple routing devices wirelessly. Anyway, I thought I'd put my question on the forum, any input is appreciated.
