Extend ipad using by lower the brightness ?

I've owned an iPad for 1 months. Frankly, I'm quite happy with it, but there's only one thing bugging me, the brightness adjustment. I tried to reduce the brightness so to extend the length of using for single charge, but the lowest brightness setting for me it's not enough. Here comes the question, is there any way to lower the brightness to even further so to makes iPad work longer time?
