Extend wifi: Time Capsule as base + 1 AExtreme + 1 AExpress ?

I've an Airport Extreme + 1 AirPort express.
I need to extend more my wifi signal.
I'm thinking to buy a Time Capsule (cause i need also a backup solution) and will use AExtreme + AExpress to extend signal, it will work?
Or it shoudl be better to buy also another AExpress and use 2 AExpress to extend signal (and dismiss AExtreme) ?
