Checking to see if anyone has had this issue.
Booted in XP with boot camp on MBP using the built in ATI Radeon X1600 video card. The Leopard Drivers for XP to work on the MBP and the extended desktop does not work at all.
Doing a PowerPoint my only option is to mirror the display. I have called Apple care many time seen the Mac Gen at the store. NO luck at all. I email Steve Jobs and a few at the executive level I get a call back
and the only thing I told is "Apple does not support anything on the XP side" So I ask why the supplied leopard video driver does correctly and all I'm told is too bad we do not support that.
You think one person at the apple campus before launching bootcamp would have plugged a projector in while booted on XP. Or after realizing the problem would have asked ATI to fix this.
BTW Apple care told me to call ATI... ATI said sorry you need to call apple... Called apple back I'm then told to call Microsoft... Microsoft said sorry if you own a Mac you must call Apple.
Any advice?
So the Gent from who claims to be a representative of Apples executive team has been trying with the Apple Engineers. He said after out 30 min. call today he would try again.
I could always go to Coupertino CA and hold up a sign until someone help me fix this. not sure but being the nice guy is not working.
