Hi there,

I have a 13" Macbook air. Purchased a year ago tomorrow.

I wish to extend the AppleCare. I guess I stupidly assumed you could just enter your serial online and pay and it would extend it, but it seems you have to order this physical package and have it delivered etc. and I assume, go through some process to do it, which obviously I don't really have time for.

Can anybody explain to me the AppleCare extension process, and if I have any options. I have a Window tomorrow (exactly 1 year) of about an hour when I can get to an Apple store, if it somehow helps to do it instore..

I'd try calling Apple Support, 1-800-275-2273. I've bought Applecare over the phone before from Apple. You can go to an Apple Store also but it's going to be a crazy weekend there with the launch of the new iPhone.

Just call the Apple Store directly and buy it over the phone. They'll even activate it for you in the process. (you will need your computer serial number when you call)
