Extending Multiple Monitors

Hey

I currently have the Mid 2010 Macbook pro 13". I was wondering if it possible to extend the macbook pro onto two monitors? Or if it was possible to extend it to two monitors and have the macbook pro shut/open?

If you can, what do I need to set it up?

Get a second monitor (obviously), then a thunderbolt (or display port) to "whatever input said monitor has" and plug everything in. En, in system pref, under displays, check/uncheck "mirror displays" to mirror one display, or have two separate displays.

if you want to connect to 2 external monitors, look into the "Matrox DualHead2Go DisplayPort Edition", it will take 2 identical resolution displayport monitors, and make the Macbook see it as 1 displayport monitor that is twice as wide, 3840x1200 (2x 1920x1200)
