I have a current model Apple AirPort Extreme wireless router. I would like to extend the range on it, perhaps with a booster/signal extender. I primarily use wireless with my iPod Touch 3rd Gen which I think is 802.11G.

My house is all one floor, and I can reach the other end of the house but it sits at 1-2 bars, usually 1. The other end is 60-70ft away from the router going thru 3 walls. The walls are standard wood with drywall over, nothing like spancrete or any other materials that would make signal quality worse. There is a hallway in the center of the run, with outlets which I thought might be a good place to put a signal extender in. I would like to make the signal a solid 2 bars, 3 would be even nicer.

I was thinking I could do this easiest with a Airport Express but I'm open to suggestions. I do have two Airport Express 802.11G models M9470LL/A A1084 available but wasn't sure if they could be used since my Extreme is 802.11N. Since the signal I'm trying to extend involves the G, could I use these somehow?
