extending RAM on new ibook 14"

hi,

i hope you can help me here:
i want to update the new ibook 14" with some more RAM. i dont want to buy those expensive apple ram's and wonder if there is a cheaper alternative around.

i did some research already if there is a alternative and run over crucial.com.
here's the prob:
apple support says that the rams are 1.25inch long (PC2100 SO-DIMMS).
crucial.com says: 2.625" x 1"

can i use those rams still, or does apple changed some tech specs with the new ibook?
