Hi all.
I have a 'busted' MegaSafe adaptor extension cord,.... or rather, i'm not sure weather it would still work ...

The centre pin of the AC plug is now gone....... Overtime, it became bent, so i just straightened it with a pair of pliers..

Now all this back and forth motion, have broken this centre pin plug...

Is this extension still ok to use as I left it out, and just used the MegaSafe (as is), because I was worries i would short something.

Or should i just replace the extension (if possible) ?

Don't think the center plug does anything. If you look at the other end of the cable that connects to the MagSafe adapter, you will notice that it only has 2 pins, while the other end (depending on your country) has 3 pins (1 is always the ground).

I would just ignore it and move on :)

I'm sure you can find this extension cable for cheap on eBay if it's really bothering you...
