When I'm in say, Safari, I use the extensions feature to bring 1Password forward so it's one of the first things I see.

I do the same for the sharing extensions for Evernote and Pocket so they are the first view when I bring them up.

But when I get out of Safari, they don't' "stick". I have to tap "more" and arrange them again back to the top so they are in the first set of icons I can see when I pull up.

Is there a way to make these stick?

You can because different apps can be compatible with different extensions and have their own icons in the share menu. So it's kinda logical to have different order in different apps.

Even if that's the case, it doesn't remember once the app has been killed. Try reordering it in Safari, killing Safari and opening Safari again. The order will have reverted to the default order.

I know, that's the bug this thread is about :) I hope Apple will fix this in iOS 8.0.1 which should be out by the of September or in early October (Apple said they would release fix for HealthKit apps around that time and I hope they will also include other fixes).

That's fine. But Safari should be able to remember that I want Evernote and Pocket first all the time.

Thought I was going crazy.....glad to see I'm not alone.

Seems the setting sticks as long as Safari remains in memory. But if the device restarts or purges Safari then the order is reset.

I did submit a bug report on this this morning....although I'm guessing it'll be close soon as a duplicate.
