I'm really interested in how you can pass an activity from the watch to the phone.

E.g. Reading a mail, want to continue reading it on your phone
Or answering a phone call then transfer it your phone
Or using an app and want to view extended details on the phone

I know that there is some functionality included that does some or all of this but there's been very little detail about exactly what you can do and how it works.

Does anyone know anything more specific?

I suppose it would work the same way as iPhone and iPad. When reading or responding an email on one device, there's a little icon that appears on the lock screen. Alternatively you can look at the very left "card" in the multitask app choosing mode.

As for phone calls, it prob works like car Bluetooth set up. You can select the option on your phone to take it on it instead of the cars Bluetooth system.
