External 15"-17" monitor with retina quality? Where?

Hello!

Do you guys know a external monitor that has similar retina specs as the Macbook pro 15" retina screen?

I cant handle big 20"+ displays, so I am forced to use a Macbook pro 15". Not so ergonomic.

I wish I could find a external display with similar specs (15-17") so I can sitt more ergonomically with a keyboard and mouse and better high settings. (I tested laptop stands, but didnt like it).

What you should search for is 4K 15" monitors. For example, if you go to Amazon, search first for 4K monitors, then filter on the left for screen sizes 14" to 17".

Now, pretty much all these monitors are "portable" monitors that don't have a conventional stand. Also, these brands are all random no-names that I wouldn't touch unless I had no choice. But this may be all that there is. Best Buy has nothing. Asus makes a bunch in that size range, but 1080p is the top resolution.
