I've seen them in several places, but dont know what they are...
They sit on the end of a 'naked' 3.5" standard HD, are blue and aluminum (?), and I'm in the market for a replacement to a failed external enclosure.
I really don't want to spend more than $40 on a replacement, and on eBay it seems that that's the base price w/ shipping, and you get the crappiest quality availible thanks to $15 shipping...
1) Any good drives cases you can reccomend for a reasonable price that DOESN'T use the prolific chipset?
2) What is the name and where can I find the little 'endcaps' I talked about above?
