External 5.1 Sound Card

Hey, I've got a powerbook here and some surround sound speakers. Currently I only get stereo through these, but I'd really like to use the surround. I'd really like to connect through coaxial. Right now I have a dvd player in the optical and an ipod and standard rca in the other inputs. Is there anything I can buy for cheap that will enable 5.1 for my PB?

I personally use an MAudio Transit. This is optical only though...

It doesn't support coaxial. It also seems pretty overpriced, I've seen similiar products that use the same outputs for only $30.
