External battery

on an average day i drain my battery all the way down to the wire, ive been looking at cases/external batterys. my question to all of you, is can i leave on the external battery/case all day without effecting my battery life in the future.

Yes. The batteries in iPhones have little/no "memory."

I would recommend this charger, however:

Takes 2 AA batteries (use rechargeables and it's great).
