A AeroBar macrumors 6502a Original poster Jan 21, 2009 740 13 Jun 15, 2009 #1 hi, I had been considering getting an external Blu-Ray burner for backing up iPhoto, iTunes etc. - if I found a cheap one. but I cannot find any Blu-Ray writers that specify MAC compatibility. how can I know for sure? cheers.

Click to expand... Sorry I didn't reply sooner. All Blu-ray burners work as a standard CD and DVD burners under iTunes and the Finder. To burn to Blu-ray discs you will need Toast until OS X supports native Blu-ray burning.
