I have both a 2017 and 2019 15" MacBook Pros that I use for home and work respecitvely. However, I currently also using bluetooth for audio via my headphones. When either laptop is placed in a metallic stand in clamshell mode behind my 27" LED Cinema Display I noticed that I will get frequent audio dropouts due to wireless interference, which isn't the case when they placed directly underneath the monitor. My question is: Is it possible to use a third party USB Bluetooth receiver with my MacBook Pros so that I don't have to use the one that is built into the laptops themselves?

Many Thanks,

Saad.
