running latest version of iTunes and latest version of tiger OSX. I recently purchased a 750GB SeaGate Pro external hard drive. I noticed that when iTunes goes unresponsive from reading music from the external and i force quit, it doesn't actually quit. It says it does but when I try to restart iTunes I get the -600 code error. however as soon as I disconnect my external it actually quits. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this anomaly. Don't know how I figured out that the removing my external would allow the application to finish quitting properly.
