I took in my MacBook Pro for repair yesterday.
Before I did that I backed up some personal information onto CD then I deleted it.
I knew that Macs' SuperDrives and ComboDrives can be picky about the brand of CD they use, but I figured that since it let the CD burn it would read it too.
So, I got home (they didn't even take the laptop!) and put in the CD to get the information back.
The CD then popped out.
Luckily, I have an old APS Tech (now called Lacie) FireWire+USB disc drive. I believe it's DVD-ROM. I connected everything and popped in the CD. (It's this, just all grey and branded as "APS Tech" instead of "Lacie.")
The CD never mounted. I went to the System Profiler and saw that the CD drive was supported, no problem, by OS X.
Yet the CD won't mount.
Is there anything I can do to make the CD mount?
