Hey everyone, I have a WD external hard drive (320 gb) and it has been a gem for 4 years. Went to use it this morning, and I heard the dreaded clicking sound coming from it, and my mac was unable to mount the drive. Is there any way, other than paying an exorbitant amt of money, to get
my files back, or temporarily mount the drive to recover them to another drive? The files aren't super critical, but they do contain 200 gb of videos/audio from various places throughout the years (all legally obtained). I have another external with some of the data, but I would prefer to not redownload the rest of the files again. Thanks for the help in advance!
