Hey all,

I have a 2.66 i7 MBP (15"). A while back a friend gave me an old Hyundai external monitor, connects with VGA through an adapter. It's a tad grainy, especially compared to my nice, clean MBP screen, but it gets the job done and it was free.

I noticed that when I plug in certain USB accessories and sometimes when I plug in headphones it causes the Hyundai screen to black out momentarily or flicker or get that old-tv-moving-lines thing where little ripples go across the screen. Not really a problem, but it gets a little annoying sometimes.

Is there a way to fix this? Is it just old tech getting messed with by the newer tech?

Thanks!
