I recently purchased a Late 2011 Macbook Pro and I'm having a problem getting the display to look good. Every color profile I try either looks horrible or looks good but the brightness is too low.

I'm using a Auria EQ276W connected by display port. I just switched from a Mac Mini where everything was perfect. If I take the profile that I was using on the Mini and bring it over it looks good but for some reason its really dull the brightness needs to come up. Adjusting the brightness/contrast on the display really makes no difference.

if I do the calibration built into OS X I can't get anything that I'm even remotely happy with. I get a profile that is way to blue and the grays are non existent.

I came across this profile here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/477917/
Its pretty good and really close. My only problem is its too dull I need to brighten it up some but can't figure out how.

Does anyone know of anyway that I can brighten up a profile? I find it really odd why this would be perfect on a mini but be different on a macbook.
